2009 Financial support request
To Become Kundalini Yoga Teachers Kundalini Yoga Cambodia kindly requests your support for THREE YOUNG CAMBODIANS to join the Yoga Festival in Thailand in October 2009 (we need US$ 2900 for October 2009) AND TWO YOUNG CAMBODIANS to be able to attend the level 2 Teacher Training (we need US$ 2200 for October 2009) ??? Interested to make a longterm commitment ??? Adopt a Young Cambodian for the full level 2 course -- US$ 5500 for one student -- The Kundalini Yoga Programme in Cambodia is created to make Kundalini Yoga available to Cambodians to use the technology to deal with the stress and trauma of poverty, violence and conflict. The programme trains Cambodians to become Kundalini Yoga Teachers and to use their skills to support local community projects. Sorita (21), Vannac (29), Kanika (20) and Kimhong (20) are Kundalini Yoga Teachers who are at the core of the programme. Being involved in the Teacher Training Programme, Sorita and Vannac will soon be certified level 1 teachers and are interested to become interns in the level 2 programme. Kanika and Kimhong are enrolled in the next level 1 training. The small income from regular classes and from outreach activities covers to some extent the expenses of the Kundalini Yoga Cambodia project. 50% of the income is shared among the teachers. Sorita, Vannac, Kanika and Kimhong contribute what they earn in that way to the teacher training. Attending the Yoga Festival in Thailand in October enables to fulfil the workshop requirement of the level 1 course. At the same time, Vannac and Sorita can attend the second module of level 2. IN CASE YOU ARE INTERESTED TO SUPPORT THE TRAINING OF SORITA, VANNAC AND KANIKA YOU CAN MAKE CASH DONATIONS TO THE PROGRAMME OR TRANSFER YOUR SUPPORT TO THE KUNDALINI YOGA BANK ACCOUNT IN CAMBODIA.
